The Truth Behind Me

​Hello, everyone my real name is Maria, although some of you might know me as Renee J. Branson or Renne J. Branson depending on what I decide to go with. So, some interesting things about me include the fact that I grew up in a small town, and I've had the privilege to live a double life.

As some of you can probably guess, I love fantasy. This passion began when I watched the third Lord of the Rings movie. From there my passion only grew as I played a lot of fantasy games like Ogre Battle 64 and Dragon Age. 

You might find it quite interesting that I used to hate books, and thought they were a waste of time. Then one morning I was describing my idea of a story to my cousin (even though I wasn't sure how I would tell it) and he said, "wow, that sounds a lot like The Wheel of Time. Are you sure you haven't read it?" Of course, I said, "No?" but he did peak my interest and thus started my adventure into reading. With it, I've found a love for the written words and seeing how books take fantasy to a level I've never known before.
